What's New in IMDbPro Lists?

What are lists on IMDbPro, and how are they different from lists on IMDb?

Lists can be created by any IMDbPro member for people or titles. Lists are designed to make your job easier, whether you are looking to fill a role, build your network, share ideas, or conduct industry research. You can find Your Lists under "Your Tools" in the navigation bar on IMDbPro.

Lists created on IMDbPro are separate from lists created on IMDb, and cannot be migrated from one site to the other. IMDbPro lists can ONLY be created for titles or people (image and video lists cannot be created on IMDbPro). IMDbPro lists cannot be made publicly discoverable like lists on IMDb; however, you can share a list from IMDbPro with other people (even those without an active IMDbPro membership).

What are IMDbPro Industry Lists?

IMDbPro Industry Lists is a feature that provides list of people and titles across various criteria in the entertainment industry. These lists are powered by IMDbPro data and IMDbPro’s industry partners. Industry lists can be found on the IMDbPro homepage or directly accessible via: https://pro.imdb.com/list/new/industry

How do I create a list?

There are a few different ways to create a list on IMDbPro:

• From the Your Lists page (desktop): to create a people list, navigate to the "People" tab. To create a title list, navigate to the "Titles" tab. Once on the desired tab, click on the Create list button. You will then be prompted to enter the list title in the "List name" field, and an optional list description. • From a name/title page (desktop): select "Add to list", then select "+ Create list"

How can I edit my list?

To edit the name or description of your list:

• From the desktop website: while viewing the list, tap on the title or description to edit; OR when viewing the "Your lists" page, select the 3 dots on the right-hand side of the list, then select "Edit"
  
  

• From the app: select "Edit list" at the top of the list; OR select the 3 dots in the upper-right corner of the list, then select "Edit list"
  
  

How can I add items to my list?

To add an item to your list, navigate to a name or title page, select "Add to list", then select the name of the list (on the app, you will need to select "Done" after selecting the name of the list).

How can I delete items from my list?

To delete an item from your list:

• From the desktop website: select the 3 dots to the right of the name/title in your list, select "Delete", then select "Delete" on the pop-up confirmation box

• From the app: select the 3 dots to the right of the name/title in your list, select "Remove from list", then select "Yes. Delete!"
  
  

How can I move/rearrange the order of list items?

For "People" lists, you can sort your list by Name, STARmeter, Talent Agency, or Management.
For "Title" lists, you can sort your list by Name, Title type, Run time, MOVIEmeter, IMDb Rating, or Production Co.

To reorder your IMDbPro list on the desktop website, click on "Manage" in the upper-right corner of the list, then select "Reorder list". IMDbPro lists cannot be reordered via the IMDbPro app or mobile website at this time.

How can I delete my list?

Once a list has been deleted, it can can not be restored. To delete your list:

• From the desktop website: select the 3 dots to the right of the list, select "Delete list", then select "Delete" in the pop-up confirmation box
  
  

• From the app: select the 3 dots in the upper-right corner of the list, select "Delete list", then select "Yes. Delete!"

How can I share my list?

To share your IMDbPro list, select the "Share" option in the upper-right corner of the list page on the desktop website, then choose whether you'd like to copy the shared link or trigger your device's default email program to compose an email. IMDbPro lists cannot be shared via the IMDbPro app or mobile website at this time.

How can I export my list?

You can export your list by selecting the "Export" option found in the upper-right corner of your list.

How can I print my list?

You can print your list by using your browser's Print function.

Is there a limited number of lists I can create?

Yes, each IMDb user is limited to 999 lists.

Is there a limit to the size of my list?

Yes, lists can not extend beyond 10,000 titles.
