Get the Latest App Version for the Best Experience
To check which version of the app you have, open the IMDb app and go to your Profile Tab (furthest right icon on the bottom navigation bar) > Settings (Gear Icon in Upper Right Hand Corner) > App where you'll find the app version number.
If you want to update to the latest app version for the best experience:
- For iOS, go to the App Store and search for "IMDb" to upgrade to the latest app version. You can also go to the App Store app and go to your Profile icon in the upper right >> Apps to upgrade your app.
- For Android, go to the Play Store and search for "IMDb" to see if your device is eligible to upgrade to the latest app version. You can also go to the Play Store app and go to your Profile icon in the upper right >> Manage apps & device >> Updates available to upgrade your app.
- For FireOS, go to the Amazon App Store and search for "IMDb" to upgrade to the latest app version.
If you are unable to update to the latest IMDb app version or find the latest app version available on the App Store (iOS), Play Store (Android) or Amazon App Store (FireOS), then your device is likely on an operating system (OS) that is no longer compatible with the latest IMDb app version.
